Have you ever asked yourself what you miss out on when you travel like the conventional tourist? It's almost scripted the way people float from place to place. It's so fascinating that they themselves become tourist attractions to natives of their destination countries. Their standard backpacks are never left behind too.
To blend in the culture and see the soul of the people, you have to be where the locals are and share experiences with them. Some of theses things to do won't be found on apps such as TripAdvisor and AirBNB experiences. Some activities worth checking out.
I'd recommend not heavily relying on personal transport for your movements but to once in a while use the intracity buses to take you around. It's one way to observe the locals while you moved from place to place.
Perhaps you might appreciate spending some time at OYDC- Olympic Youth Development Centre if you're have some interest in sport. It's a good place to meet ambitions youth and get an idea on ideals on ambition and achievement. The facility dons a boxing gym, martial arts dojo, an olympic size swimming pool and dozens other sports. Besides, you'll make some good friends in the process.

When you feel hungry, dive into a local meal at Matebeto in Thornpark, Zambian Style. The meals are huge. You eat with no knife and folk here. Wash your hands, grab that awesomeness and blow your tastebuds with local cuisines. Chit-chat with the waiters and other customers while you munch away. Hopefully you'll have a good time.
